The “Glutster” Burger Now Available in New Menu at Biergarten Tonight! Eat Me Now!

I present to you The Glutster: Eight juicy ounces of 100% pure charred ground pork loin, stratified with oregano-spiked, crisp-pickled onions, a thick and creamy Epazote-scented Aioli, a spread of Chipotle-laced black beans, two slices of fried green seasoned tomato and to finish the 2nd generation Mexification of it–a scoop of chunky, fresh Guacamole. All sandwiched between two toasted, soft, sweet and King’s Hawaiian burger buns.

New Beginnings, My Epic Saveur Zacatecas Piece Featured In May Issue & Writing About Food/Punk Rock For OC Weekly

I have finally finished the my epic piece for Saveur Magazine!. The Mijos Journey will be out on newsstands across the world in the last weeks of April and whole month of May! Extremely happy to say that I worked my ass off for a to compile a 4000+ word narrative on visiting the beloved ranchitos of my parents beautiful home state of Zacatecas for the first time. It was a journey of getting to know my roots through food, it comes complete with 20+ family rancho recipes, including, are you ready? My mom’s world famous Menudo (as made famous on the Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern: Los Angeles). All this, within a week and a half.

The Glutster To Appear On The United Tastes Of America Tonight! (The Cooking Channel: 6:30 PM PST)

So, the segment where I was featured in a while back for United Tastes Of America will finally be aired tonight! Well, 2 hours from now to be exact. The show will be aired on the new Cooking Channel at 6:30 PM (9:30 PM for you East Coasters) and 10:30 PM (1:30 for you East Coasters).

I received this email two days ago in response of my recent coverage on the progress of the WAGES Act – H.R 631. I recently covered the ROC-LA AM Summit At Taix Restaurant which praised the noble efforts of restaurant owners who went the extra mile to take care of their employees works of. Michael Taix, the 4th generation owner of the family restaurant was one of those men.
